The Kids Get a Hair Cut

Here's Ben with his new do. He says he likes is new cut. See I didn't screw it up! 3/29/08

Ben and his new hair cut - side view.

Here is the back. It used to be long, it was trying to grow it to donate it. I told him he'd never make it. Taking care of your hair takes much more time than he wanted to put into it. I had a hard enough job just getting him to wash it a couple of times per week.

Here's Sam with short hair. I got tired of dealing with tangles, twisty bugs, unknown sticky stuff and the last straw - ticks, dirt and sand. "Off with his HAIR."

Here are Ben and Sam with Sandy after the 3 of them had a hair cut.

Peter says that Sandy looks like a Bobble Head now that his coat is short but his head and ears are long.

Ben Wants to be a Photographer

Here are some of his latest shots.

This was taken at a local park. 3/23/08

Ben found a duck sitting on her downy nest.

Another photo taken at the park.

Ben likes interesting trees, roots and rocks.

Ben liked the tress that had people's names carved on them.

This is a shot of Sandy that Ben took. 3/21/08

Ben took this in our yard.

Puppies First Bath

Here is Sandy in the bath with Sam. Sam was taking a bath and Sandy wanted to join him. He loved it. Once I finished up with Sam, Sandy got a proper bath too. Now everyone smells a bit better.

Sandy is really tired now after his long day and bath. He's 12 weeks old today. 3/19/08.

My Puppy is Growing Up - Sandy Almost 12 Weeks Old

Here is Peter doing school while the puppy on his lap.

I can't believe how big my cute guy is getting. Here is Sandy at almost 12 weeks.

Here are some recent photos of the kids.

Here is Peter and Sandy. Sandy had been paddling in the kiddie pool. He likes to get wet and then find the dirt. He fits right in with the kids in this respect. (Taken 03/08)

Here is Ben with Sandy. Ben doesn't seem to like the puppy quite as much as the other boys. Part of it is that he doesn't like "dog germs." Peter just loves the puppy and is really good about taking the puppy out for potty breaks. Plus, Peter can hang out with the dog and get out of school work for a while until I have to yell, "What's taking you so long." Sam loves the puppy and says that he's the puppy's favorite chew toy. Personally I think that the puppy loves chewing on Jack the most. (Taken 03/08)

Here's Sam after he'd been eating some tasty blueberries. Doesn't that make you want to just give him a great big hug. (Taken 03/08)

More Puppy Photos

Jack says he can still whip the little squirt into shape. But for how much longer. They truly do love each other. They will play for hours chewing on each others legs, having teeth sparing matches and rough housing. Of cause the rough housing HAS to take place where ever you are. So if you are on the couch they will do it right next to you, if you are eating dinner they have to be under your feet and if you are working in the kitchen, there they are....

As you can see Sandy is growing like a weed and is almost as big as Jack. Sandy was 6 pounds when we got him at 7 1/2 weeks and now at almost 11 weeks he weighs 14 pounds. My boy is growing up too quickly, just like the kids.

Sandy would love to get in the bath with Ben. Sandy showed a lot of interest in water and has already been in the paddling pool and likes to scoop all the water out his drinking bowl. I can tell he's going to be another water baby.

Puppy's First Hair Cut - age 9 weeks

Well, today was the day for that first hair cut. My boy is growing up.

Here is how he looked before:

He did really well, wasn't really thrilled about his feet being done but was really good while having his face trimmed up. Here is my handsome guy after his hair cut:
